I really like this, I know it's silly to give props for composition on a landscape but you really had a good eye with this one. Love!!!

I'm tempting your mind to wander towards home fires, family and friends. However art leads where the beholder wants to go...

I really like that tree, and it's cool with the car driving along on the road. I feel like the shot's very well balanced for that, and it really makes me love it. It's just cool and varied all around <3

The car I was trying to avoid but when I thought of cropping it, along with the road, the balance of the composition and the interest was lost. So having decided to leave it, the title came to mind. The rest was history as they say - thanks for the kind comments. :)

How did you get the tree to pose? Dammit.

The frustrating thing was I drove by an hour before with NO CAMERA, the sun was highlighting the tree beautifully and the background was merging into a thick fog. A totally different and much better photograph, unfortunately missed! Lesson:- TAKE CAMERA EVERYWHERE! :cling:

I like the frosted line of the tall grass in the background, I wouldn't have been able to resist getting a closer look at the frost resting on the tree branches. nice shot :)

Too blinkered by the idea of a long shot (and wrong shoes!). Thanks for the appreciative comments. :huggle:
