Lovely idea but I'm afraid not - they were bred for sale. I know the breeders but those kittens were sold across Europe. I shall try to capture a future litter.

I personally think they grow to become a little anorexic as adults, compared to the common or garden moggie but very graceful nevertheless.

Or maybe they just are more comfortable, i.e., flexible and at their best agility at a certain weight; they have more control over their eating habits because of it perhaps?

I really think it goes back to their very close genetic relationship to the wild serval cats. Our moggies have copied us and are apt to eat beyond their needs and therefore put on weight. :)

Yes, that's pretty much was I was getting at but lacking in the right words. I do believe you have hit the nail on the head.
